A long while ago, I showed you how I restored one part of a two part nesting table. I had prepped this second table a while ago, but never got around to finishing it. It has been sitting in the garage, waiting to be restored. The two nesting tables are really a pretty pair, but most of the time they’re used separately. Anyway, in this post I’ll be sharing How to Restore a Side Table Using Stain and Stencils.
The top was sanded and I stenciled this flower design on the top.
I then stained the top with Dark Walnut stain, and sealed it with a satin polyurethane. This ended up being a quick makeover. I wondered why I hadn’t gotten around to it before. What do you think of the new look?
I also took the top off the base. The base was cleaned and spray painted black.
This little nesting table is now tucked away in my craft room getting tons of use now. I love that I was able to cut one of my own hand drawn stencils using my Cricut; it really adds a personal flair to projects.
Thanks for sharing How to Restore a Side Table Using Stain and Stencils!
