Summer Activities-Int’l Bloggers Club
Last month we shared summer projects in the Int’l Bloggers Club and the month before we focused on furniture makeovers. This month we are sharing the different summer activities we do in our respective countries.
Camping is always a fun summer activity in America!! My husband’s family enjoys camping together each summer. This was the second year we went camping. My husband and his sister chatting around the early morning campfire.
We live in Southwest Missouri so there are tons of people that go to the Table Rock Lake and the Pomme de Terre Lake for boating, fishing and swimming when the weather gets warm. We also have lots of rivers near us, where we do floating/canoeing on occasion. This picture was taken the same year as our second camping trip.
Who doesn’t like fishing in the summer? My husband and his dad like to fish, and my girls are taking it all in.
This waterpark/aquatic center is in our town. We’ve been to it a handful of times. It usually gets really crowded and you can see why. It’s pretty cool. It even has a wave area where you can surf. I snapped this picture before the aqua center opened.
This is one of the parks in our area that we like to go walking in. Right now with the Poke Mon game this is one of the hot spots in Springfield. There were tons of people here, even in the smoldering heat trying to catch the pocket monsters.
There were so many pretty things here at this particular park, that I snapped a lot of pictures of the scenery, hope you don’t mind. 😉
We have a few local playgrounds that my kids love going to in the summer, here’s one of their favorites.
We also have our own personal playground at home. 😉 Ok so it’s just a swing set, but this is probably their most played with toy. My kiddos love being outside, and of course, love to swing.
And of course, one of my favorite activities is shopping at garage and yard sales over the course of the summer.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of mine and my family’s favorite summer activities. Make sure to check out what my friends, Pili, Katrin, and Mary do in their countries during the summer.
Have a great day!!
