Sometimes projects don’t go as you plan, and then sometimes they break or get torn apart, and you’re faced with the option to try to make it again. That’s what happened with these little snowmen I made last year. My daughters thought they were cute, so cute that they couldn’t keep their hands off of them, lol. Yeah they played with them, and slowly the noses and the buttons came off. So I put them into my junk stash again, thinking I’ll think of something else to do with them or try the snowmen again.
Well, I’ve used 2 of the snowmen blocks on the Christmas angel project, and 5 more blocks to make more durable snowmen. I sanded them blocks a bit and gave them a fresh coat of paint. Then I used the tip of a paint brush handle to paint the faces on them. That’s it, pretty simple! Now at least the faces can’t be taken off and I think they look just fine without the hats. What do you think of their new look? I used the posts/spindles from our house to make these, but I actually found similar block pieces at Hobby Lobby, so if you’re interested in making your own. 😉
Thanks so much for sharing!! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
