Happy 4th of July
Awhile back I showed you all the Scrap Wood into American Flag project. I told you I made 2 flags, well here’s the other one.
If you remember the post, you’ll recall I just used hot glue for one flag and wood glue flag for the other. It held ok, but the flags needed nails to hold it better, so yesterday we finally got the nail gun and compressor out and put some nails in them. We put the nails in through the front of the flag, and left the nail holes unfilled to add some more of that rustic character.
Here’s a picture of the back.
I chose a different star pattern for this flag, still using 50 though. I also took 220 grit sandpaper to the entire thing and roughed it up a bit. What do you think of this other flag I made?
I hope you all have a safe and Happy 4th of July!!
