It’s time for another installation of Junk Revision and this month’s theme was to make a project inspired by mom or dad.
I chose to make a wood sign saying, “Mom, you’re the best” using some of the tile from my stash, and crocheted jute twine. I painted both the tile and the jute navy.
I used the same color combination that I used when making the Magnets from Repurposed Tile, and the Checkerboard using Repurposed Tiles. The color combination works so well together, so I figure why mess with a good thing.
I hot glued the jute and tile on the wood to form the word, “MOM.” I then stenciled, “you’re the best!”
Simple, easy, and unique.
Thanks for checking out this project!!
