Last week my daughters and I went to Illinois for several days. While there we visited with family. Last time we were there I took pictures of my mom’s and brother’s projects, Repurposed Sweaters and Telephone Poles. This time I got some pictures of my other two brothers’ projects to showcase on the ol’ blog.
My oldest brother started building horse stables last May. There are stalls on either side of the barn, along with two rooms for tack and feed.
My brother poured the concrete floors for the horse barn, and stamped it to look like wood.
The portable saw mill was used to cut all the lumber for this building, from the trees on the property.
This momma horse is getting ready to have her baby, literally any day now.
There’s also an arena in the barn. My daughter was able to ride one of the horses, while her cousin lead.
My second oldest brother built this greenhouse, in 4 days. He made this out of repurposed telephone poles using a sawmill to cut them. Doesn’t it look awesome?!!
As you can see they have raised garden beds, a potting bench, and windows which he put in recently.
There’s a hanging organizer for seed packets and tools.
Work has already begun in the garden beds.
My brother said there were some finishing touches to be had, but it’s mostly done, and is being used.
Thanks for stopping by!!
