Another Repurposed Coffee Can
When I was growing up my mom was constantly repurposing coffee cans. A lot of the time she would cover the cans with contact paper and use them for storage. Here’s one of her more recent repurposed coffee cans she made for my daughters. Needless to say she influenced me to think like a repurposer.
Recently I made a bird feeder from a repurposed plate. After filling the feeder I needed a good storage container for the seed since the bag was not re-sealable. My mind went right to the empty coffee cans I have lying around the house.
I bought this cute wrapping paper at Michael’s for 50 cents about a week ago. How perfect is this paper going to be to cover the coffee can.
I cut the paper to fit the coffee can. I then wrapped and hot glued the paper on the can.
Now for emptying the bird seed into the new storage container.
I won’t have to wonder which repurposed coffee can the bird seed is in because the wrapping paper says it all.
Coffee cans make such great storage containers!
