Towel Rack from a Cabinet Door
This large area of cabinets used to exist when we moved into our house. My husband took them out to be able to add some more space to the bathroom. He tried to salvage as much of the cabinets as possible to use in other places in our house. One thing he saved was the doors. Of course my mind is racing as to what I can do with all of the doors and hardware.
I took one of the longer doors and decided I would make a towel rack with it.
I took the hardware off and my husband kindly sanded the door for me so I could paint it. I chose to paint it the same color as our vanity cabinet. I measured, marked and drilled the holes for the knobs. I used the beautiful ceramic knobs from the panel of cabinets that was taken down to make a bigger bathroom. I chose to have 6 knobs on the cabinet door to accommodate plenty of towels for our growing family.
I like how this turned out and am excited about putting the details together on the rest of the bathroom.
